Hard Disk Drive (HDD)

Hard Disk Drive (HDD)

HDDs are reliable and high capacity storage solutions.

Below are the main types of HDD interfaces:

1- HDD SATA (Serial ATA):

SATA (Serial Advanced Technology Attachment) is the most common type of HDD. Up to 6 Gbps Speed, with rotational speeds typically between 5,400 RPM and 7,200 RPM. Available in multiple TB capacities.

Used in General data storage, Personal computers and backups.

2-HDD SAS (Serial Attached SCSI):

SAS (Serial Attached Small Computer System Interface) drives are designed for enterprise environments, offering greater speed, reliability and durability than SATA HDDs. They are often used in servers and data centers.

Up to 12 Gbps Speed, with rotational speeds of 7,200 RPM or even 10,000 RPM.SAS drives are engineered for 24/7 operation, making them highly reliable for mission-critical applications.

Used in Enterprise servers and data centers, Virtualized environments, and Applications requiring high reliability and speed.
